Raised dirt poor in one of the worst parts of town, La-La is determined not end up like the generations of her family before her a mother when she's barely in her teens, getting caught up in the drug game, or just plain stuck living hand-to-mouth in the projects for the rest of her life. She's got big dreams, not to mention the rare combination of a sharp mind, runway model looks, and a killer bod, all of which she plan on using to get the hell out of the ghetto.
But even the best laid plans have a habit of going to pieces - especially in the hood. La-La finds that out firsthand when her ambitions cause her to cross paths with Dre, a much more worldly (and older) man than the scrubs she's used to dealing with. Showered with gifts and attention, La-La consciously chooses to overlook the strings that come attached to Dre's affection - namely, that he is a man with dangerous ties and associates.
Forced outside her comfort zone, La-La finds herself getting caught up in Dre's world. Even worse, her normally good judgment is being impaired by both her desire for the finer things in life and her growing physical needs as she struggles to answer one question is what she and Dre have real and worth risking everything for, or is he simply using her the way she had planned on using him?

Pretty good story but it needs to be edited, some spelling & punctuation errors. I want to feel bad for Lala but she brought everything on herself & wanted to be grown so bad.Dre was 10 years older than her, what could he had really wanted with a teenager besides to manipulate her. She should've left when she found out the truth with the Q situation. Dee played that role well, I didn't see it coming. Figured she had something to do with the set up though but I don't understand why Dre would take part & have his drugs confiscated, losing money.

The Dumb Bitch A Ratchet City Tale edition by Rashima Wilson Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
They set her up hook line and sinker lala thought she knew it all but didn't see the game this was a good one kept my attention and I finished it in one sitting
This book was okay but not what I expected it to be and the ending was a cliffhanger the author storyline didn't make sense.
Very good read from the beginning I live in Louisiana and familiar kept me interested need to do part 2
WOW, xcept for the pills, I can identify exactly... this book brought back so many painful memories.. I don't know whether to like it or love it... WOW
This book has a great storyline, keeps u entertain. Only problem I have with the author and the editor, there are several mispelled words. I m available to proofread ur work. Lol
The typos were a HUGE distraction and not having punctuation was awful too. La really was dumb for the sake of love... Dee and Dre need some karma
The editing, or lack thereof, is painfully obvious. Throughout the entire book, I found myself having to reread sentences, so I could understand what the author was trying to say. The punctuation and spelling is terrible.
The story is interesting and held my attention, but the editing errors are too much to overcome.
